She Talks With Me

In the morning hours
When no one else will have me

She talks with me in dead of night
When no one else knows I'm alive

Her voice comes across wires
Loud and crystal clear
Calling me to her
Knowing I can't come

Not that I won't but can't
But that won't last forever...

Some day soon
We will sit on the porch
Each hand holding the other
And watch the sun go down
