Song for Anna

Sing to me, mama, sing songs about far off lands.
Sing lullabies and rock of ages and angel bands.
Sing "If a body meet a body, comin' thro' the rye."
Sing to me, mama. Wrap me in the warmth of your voice.
Let me lay in the cradle of your arms and hold me tight.
Surround me in sweet melody til I drift off to sleep,
Quietly in a concert for two, just you and me.
And tomorrow, and the day after that, sing to me.
Sing any old song you know as we lie in the dark,
And I'll be your girl, right here with you, sing to me.

Nice little ditty here, Emily. Enjoy it while you can, soon enough they will be wanting to borrow the car and finding other ways to turn your hair gray. lol
